Painting with nature

I paint with natural elements because I believe they imbue my home with a stronger connection to nature. This winter, I’ve been experimenting with snow and ice. At times, I leave the artwork outside for hours, allowing the snow to settle on it. Then, I bring it indoors to let the snow melt into water. Afterward, I take it outside again to let the water freeze, forming ice crystals that create intriguing patterns in the paint.

Additionally, I incorporate various non-toxic plant and mushroom tinctures, both diluted and undiluted, into my art. I think that it brings more nature vibes into one´s home. All of these are crafted by me and locally sourced. Occasionally, I collect water from nearby lakes and rivers. I also use rocks, and I’ve even obtained some coal that was washed up by the Baltic Sea.
